Restored Ebetsu burial mounds
Ebetsu burial mounds, which were discovered by Juichi Goto in 1931, are thought to be derived from the same genealogy as that of clustered tumulus mounds distributed in the northern parts of the Tohoku district. Those in Ebetsu are the only existing northernmost remains.
