Okhotsk clay vessels
Okhotsk clay vessels are characterized by their wide-mouthed pot shape, and have decorative patterns made with clay strips. Since these strips are similar in shape to Somen noodles, the decorative patterns are also referred to as Somen patterns or glued Somen-like patterns.
