Washinoki Site: Full view of the stone circle (during excavation work)
This stone circle – the largest in Hokkaido – is nearly circular with its outer circumference measuring 36.9 m (major axis) and 33.8 m (minor axis). It is composed of double outer stone circles and an oval stone arrangement at the center.
